If I recall, the white population in 1945 was about 35% of the world. Now it’s down to 7-8%.
Another decade it will be 2-3%. Europe will go first.

One of the problems with Hispanics was that CA public schools had a “bilingual” program that was essentially teaching in Spanish only, usually be totally unqualified people, such as teachers aides who had been hotel workers the week before they were hired. Not that they weren’t good with the kids, but the problem is that not only wasn’t their English good, even their Spanish was bad.
When CA dropped the “bilingual” stuff about 15 years ago, the scores of Spanish speaking immigrant children soared.
Asians had the same problem and were ghettoized, but a lot of the Asian parents had more money and more clout, so they either got private English lessons or they fought the school district to get mainstreamed and then sent their kids to private Chinese lessons if they wanted them.
When I was growing up in New York, PS 165 had a ton of kids from everywhere....from Hungary and Russia to Panama and South America...and we all learned in the same environment. There was a brief introductory period for kids who had no English whatsoever and no parent who had any English, and then it was sink or swim. But the whole curriculum was geared to teaching English.
We used to have a weekly competition where the principal would come on the PA system and announce a common English-language saying and then the teachers would have to get the students to tell them what they thought it meant, send a messenger to the office, and then the first one who interpreted it correctly would get some kind of prize (maybe pencils?) and the room would get a star.
These were things like “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.” But it gave kids from everywhere cultural familiarity with their new country.
We stopped doing that ages ago and this is the result.
