In the past, McGowan’s critics have accused her of employing underhanded tactics, or of being “no better than” her most dastardly political opponents.Indeed, she's partly responsible for the Iowa Caucus debacle.

In 2016, she was the digital director of Priorities U.S.A., a super pac affiliated with Hillary Clinton.

A year ago, McGowan tweeted that Acronym was “launching Shadow, a new tech company to build smarter infrastructure for campaigns.”

This year, the Iowa Democratic Party hired Shadow to build an app for the state’s upcoming caucus; instead of calling in to report results by phone, as they’d done for decades, precinct captains would report results through the app, which was supposed to make the process more efficient.

Of course, the app broke down in spectacular fashion, turning what should have been a news cycle about various candidates’ contrasting visions into a muddle of confusion and speculation.

The Dems worked on that enthusiasm gap to get Dukakis and Mondale to be president. Uh, wait a minute, they lost badly. Well, maybe this time.

Independents do not yet know that Biden is senile since the DNC and the mass media have been hiding him in the basement.

They will get an introduction to the “new” Joe Biden, courtesy of the Trump campaign, in October.

When the ad campaign is over, the former low information independent Biden supporters will be terrified that he will accidentally cause a nuclear war because he is senile.

That will be the message, and it will be a powerful one...

Well, what this clearly tells me is that the polls are pure bovine excrement.

If Demented Perv Biteme was ahead, the DemoKKKrats wouldn’t be “looking to” close a “gap.” There wouldn’t be a gap.

Obviously they know better. They know Trump is leading and has more than enough electoral votes to win handily.

I'm in agreement that polls are generally scata. But regarding enthusiasm, this lot from Pew is insightful - Biden's support is basically cut from the same cloth as was Willard's in 2012:
