The Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration have issued a temporary flight restriction over the City of Portland for unmanned aircraft systems, such as drones, according to the Federal Aviation Administrations website. That means personal drones cannot be flown within city limits.
Administration officials said the restriction is for special security reasons, but they did not elaborate on those reasons. The restriction began July 16 and will end Aug. 16.
The restriction is for aircraft systems that fly at or below 1,000 feet. Commercial airplanes and any manned aircrafts are not affected by the restriction.
Kama Simonds, spokesperson for Port of Portland, said the airport was made aware of the restriction last week. She said approach paths for the Portland airport should be unaffected.

Yep
But restrictions on the entire city seems odd (the airport is about 10 miles from the riot zone).
The Communist AFuggs are using lasers as weapons. It’s unsafe for those planes to fly overhead too.
Unless the FAA is going to exert some control on the people on the ground.

There is a larger riot planned for daytime, tomorrow, Saturday. They are calling for unions and others to join. It will be a wider area of the city.

Commie anarchists with laser pointers.
The Antifa are using lasers to blind the police force. They would have no problems blinding pioleets.
Coming soon to a Democrat controlled city near you!!!
Que the breaking news story of federal agents attacking defenseless protesters along with exclusive video evidence of live fire from a certain Kentucky gun range.
If Antifags can blind cops with lasers, they can do damage with drones as well.
Terrorists don’t obey laws but I suppose it makes DHS feel safer
Can you freepmail the Poland article, pretty please? I have been watching Poland since my son decided Germany was a good duty station. If youre wondering why.. I was thinking I would not be able to see what has become of Germany since I left in 1990.. so if I did visit, I decided Poland would be ideal.
