I don’t know what Birx was trying to say here but the comparison of Texas today with New York in April is absolutely ludicrous. I can’t explain it other than it’s deliberately sabotaging Trump.
Honestly, I don’t think it has anything to do with Trump. Like her mentor Fauci, she is a career Washington bureaucrat who has suddenly found herself with fame and power and knows that a permanent crisis is the only way to keep it.
