The president, in a Thursday night interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity, claimed that if he had the support of local leaders, he could deploy anywhere from 50,000-75,000 federal officers to deter crime.
We want to go in and help the cities, we want help Chicago, we want to help all of them, Trump said. Detroit is having problems. A very good police chief in Detroit, but they have problems. Well go into all the cities, any of the cities. We're ready. Well put in 50,000, 60,000 people that really know what they are doing. And they are strong, they're tough, and we can solve these problems so fast. But as you know, we have to be invited in.
..... Its a shame. We could solve it. If they invited us in, we would go in with 50,000, 75,000 people. We would be able to solve it like you wouldnt believe and quick. But they just dont want to ask, maybe for political reasons, but they dont want to ask. Its a disgrace.
As violence in other cities has continued to spike, the president has announced his plan to deploy agents from the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and other agencies to partner with local agencies in other cities such as Chicago and Kansas City.

Why would they want to suppress the violent behavior of their constituents?
Trump should be like Sonny in A Bronx Tale (variation) Now you’se can’t leave.
“Now you’se can’t have help!
Then they’ll all be beggin’

Trump is going all-in on this law and order thing.
It’s a thing to marvel how different the President is from all other politicians. This man is bold
I’m a little concerned that we have that many Federal agents to begin with.
But, do what you have to do, Mr. President.
Don’t do it!
Let them burn.
Them they’ll already be in place come vaccination time!
Trump is right. It is a disgrace that any state can block federal enforcement at will. States tried insurrection once before and it ended badly for them.
I wouldn’t want to be one of those feds deployed. Blue cities in blue states. Won’t help him in November so let them burn.
Orange man B Raschuus
It's his job, actually an enumerated power and responsibility that he alone has.
Where are the citizens of Portland, Seattle and other cities to complain about what's going on?
Or does Antifa and BLM control these cities with so much intimidation that the good people of these cities are afraid to fight back?
If the answer is the latter, then yes Trump needs to go in and help.
What happens if biden and beto odork end up in charge of 50k plus federal agents? Shouldnt we be concerned that the federal government has a literal army outside of the military? What part of the Constitution authorizes this army of police?
That already happened within our Federal agencies.
Trump has the entire picture that we don’t. He was law and order from the get go......that’s just who he is.

Im generally for cutting over half the federal government. And Im very cautious about federal policing of local communities. But alas theres absolutely no choice as long as the Democratic Nazi Communist thugs and hooligans are rioting in our streets (with support/ protection from Demo mayors who actually issue stand down orders to local police aiding and abetting crime and insurrection)). - in my humble opinion, arresting those bad mayors and those that find and organize the Burgle, Loot, and Murder crime thugs -/Including such as Soroznazi and his evil scions// could stop most of this danger quickly without need of much further action. Restore responsible governance to the cities and states where the politicians are complicit in the violence.
