President Trump to hold news conference today.
Showtime
I used so schmooze a Karen when I was a teenager, but that’s a long story that I’m not getting into here.
Likely the Karen I knew. I’ve never met an actual lady named Karen I didn’t like. Sad appropriation of a good nice name.
It is about controlling the message. Trump ailed miserably today. He sounded like Joe Biden Jr.
Trump had no confidence in his voice or topics, except he was REALLY glad that a has-been baseball player showed up and got to see him speak. BIG WOW!
It doesnt give me heartburn and never smooze a Karen. They dont care.
Chris Christie’s guy giving the advice, now?
:-(
ailed = Failed
Who you gonna vote for?
What was your presentation about?
Worse than that. Pathetic.
When Chris Christie spoke you knew at least he wasn’t going to die in front of the camera. I was afraid that Trump was going to fall over for being such a failure in his presentation.
Chris Christies guy giving the advice, now?
:-(
Nonsense.
On the other hand Trump showed last time that he’s not shy about changing campaign managers if things aren’t working for him.
{This breaks my heart!!}
Mine, too!!
First, no more MAGA rallies!!
Now, we don’t get to celebrate PDJT’s renomination at a traditional convention!!
My country is literally dying a slow, excruciating death.
How can he/we win without all of these crucial GOTV events??
Q:What's the one thing that changed your mind and made you cancel the GOP convention?
President Trump: Safety. I didn't want the media saying that it wasn't safe. We have to set the example.— Yamiche Alcindor (@Yamiche) July 23, 2020
“Trump ailed miserably today.”
I guess I’m glad I missed it then. Disturbing.
What was your presentation about?
Oh, marketing strategy. SAMS Clubs were new and needed memberships to help gain market share.
In the Atlanta market, there were three warehouses. Each warehouse had a team of 7 marketing reps. My plan was to take the top two from each of the warehouses and have them rotate each week between the three locations, they would train and teach the other reps as well as bring in new business. My plan worked and drove market membership up over 78%. My boss took the credit and left me to die because he was afraid to speak in front of Sam Walton.
I nailed the presentation and became the market director for the northeast part of the US until my mother became sick with ALS. I resigned so that I could take care o her.
This is beyond sad.
Cancelling for safety....after sheriff saying he can’t guarantee safety for all.
So, the mobs win this one?
I was disappointed because I’ve been waiting to hear him talk for a while about schools reopening—what he READ was great—and especially the mention that those schools that don’t/won’t reopen, kids can get vouchers for something else-—but in CA, private schools are forced to stay closed, even though they want to reopen.
I guess the vouchers could be used for private tutors or online private schooling.
And meanwhile all of Europe and Asia has reopened schools.
But then the reporter asks “for those schools that want to reopen. . .” well, why is it only up to the “schools”—that means “for those teachers unions who want to reopen, which is none of them”—what about those who are living in a tyrannical state like CA and don’t have a choice? What about those parents who want a choice between private and public, and can even afford it without a voucher, but CA is allowing neither?
He was asked questions about schools and then answered about major league baseball. Really got off topic and I’d been hoping to hear about reopening schools from him all summer.
He is one man against the world, though. I don’t think he’s all that interested in K-12 or college education, and I know that isn’t really the job of the President to be involved with that, normally.
France also has strong unions but they opened up, nationally, with a strong national commitment to children and education. Amazing that the United States really lacks that.
Disagree. He is being smart.
