No doubt that was exactly her point. She proved it irrefutably, and at great risk to herself.
Malkin was on local Denver radio two days ago and a DPD cop who called in was near tears about what happened. Without naming names, he shared that a dept commander did issue a Stand Down and vacate. One Lt responded back that he would not vacate. The caller has names, so I suspect he’ll give or has given the info to Malkin.
What is the point of having a “support the police” rally in a town that has armies of violent leftists? The “pro police” folks had to know there would be trouble. Even if they had been protected by a line of cops keeping the leftists back, what benefit comes from holding the rally and giving the crazies a target?
Aren’t there more productive ways for the patriots to spend their energies and their Sunday afternoon? Maybe precinct walking for the Trump campaign, to register voters in conservative neighborhoods communities, to actually help with a favorable outcome at the polls this November?
What tangible positive change comes about from a pro police rally- especially in a town where leftist riots are almost guaranteed?
Besides generating publicity, what’s the value of these rallies?

As Bureaucracies grow, they do less and less work with more and more tax monies until they do nothing and consume everything.

Cops are in the business of enforcing the law no? That’s why they are called law enforcement.
So if laws are being broken in front of the the police, their business would be to enforce the law no? If a bank robbery is taking place and the police come upon it what would they do?
This is not about protecting anybody. It’s about enforcing the law.

Until the GOP goes on the offense? Who? Mitch McConnell? John Cornyn? Ted (TWITter) Cruz? Marco Rubio? Or are you waiting for the mighty mighty Leslie Graham to make a stand?. If there is a GOP, its us because all of them stand for nothing but the lies that got them elected! We have to make the stand! We have to defy the cops and take they @ssholes on the left out. There is no more justice. You either get them when they are on the street, or fight them every night at your house, resturant, movie theater, school, etc. This is an ideological war, that has become a cancer. You either kill it at one spot, or fight it after it spreads. Trump is showing he cannot do it alone. The future is that we will have to disobey the law to get it back online!

Most, if not all, of today’s cops, have been raised on a steady diet of hate-America-First spewed at them from grade school thru college. Most of the Chiefs of Police are political appointees, appointed for their loyalty to the democrat party, and not for the law enforcement experience. Notice how many of them are women, blacks, and other “oppressed” minorities. I suspect that many of the cops actually sympathize with or support the rioters, looters, vandals, and arsonists.

Actually not strangely. For the past 50 years the GOP has consistently been the reliable servant of multinational corporations, foreign governments, and Wall Street banks. Most legislative activity involves carving out provisions for special interests. Even “middle class” tax bills promoted and passed by GOP politicians provide more economic benefit for the upper 5% than the middle class. The GOP has actively facilitated the liberal agenda for decades. Plus the GOP has been the party of using the military in countless foreign adventures since WWII.
The GOP has been masterful at gaining votes from gullible conservatives. They’ve talked a good game about protecting individual liberties and small business. When the record is scrutinized in detail, GOP politicians do very little for average Americans.
How’s that promised repeal of Obamacare working out for everyone? How about the border wall the Paul Ryan House and Mitch McConnell Senate refused to fund? How about defunding Planned Parenthood or undoing the worst elements of the Great Society? How the billions voted to fund the Department if Propaganda (Education) and the leftists who convert our children into Marxists?
It is election time and GOP politicians are spewing commercials and emails claiming they are “fighting for me”. The truth is they don’t “fight” for me. Either that or they didn’t fight well enough and lost the war years ago. Somehow I suspect the next time Goldman Sachs, Amazon, or Exxon want’s a special regulatory or legislative action, those same GOP congress critters will make it happen.
And, those people were there to support the police. Unbelievable! I can't believe how appalling that is, to watch as someone is attacked who is there to support them, and not help in any way, orders or no orders. If those orders were given to stand down, they should have been ignored. Now, I think it is a mistake to support ANY police in ANY blue city - the police in those cities SHOULD be defunded!
Yeah, that wasn’t a serious “strangely” - I know full well why they haven’t.
And yet there are people here worshipping old-line GOPe members that are still in office, having done actually very little.
Time to name and shame, then.
