I wonder when Trump will put an end to thr tryanny running throughout the country.
Probably never.
Maybe he supports it.
Luke 13:31-32:
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
"Evangelicals, especially the women, who think Trump is just too mean, nasty, etc. etc. to be POTUS need to dig their collective righteous heads out of their holy azzes and THINK about that for awhile before going into the voting booth."
Quote of the Day Vote
But the Baghavad Gita and the Koran are ok.
Damn! Now I find out! But—hey! I get all the Disney movies. Hi hey! Hi hey! It’s home from work I stay!
No, I agree. Most churches have just laid down. They’d do anything the government told them, including disband.
Shouldnt your objection be directed at those bringing the lawsuit since they claim the effect of the order is to ban home bible studies?
You probably should actually read the article before commenting and making an a$$ out of yourself next time. This is the sixth paragraph from the top. It ties in with the headline and is not "clickbait".
The lawsuit is unique in that it also targets the states implicit prohibition on Bible studies. Harvest Church has numerous Life Groups, which meet in the homes of members, the suit says. Likewise, many of Harvest Internationals member churches in California also have smaller groups that meet in the homes of their members to worship together and engage in Bible study, it says.
Guess they need to go to the catacombs.
They can just call it a George Floyd memorial service or a BLM service.
I read the website article, you need to read the CA heath dept. order....nothing in it prohibits gatherings at homes...including BBQ’s, pool parties, and bible studies. Social distancing and/or masks required. The phrase “in person religious gatherings” specifically mentioned in the website article is not mentioned in any CA Health Dept. order.

Or in lieu of a lawsuit just test the dictatorial edicts:
Harvest Church in SoCal has the right to sue Grusome Newsome/CDPH, but could have saved some lawyer $$ and just held their home bible studies with social distancing/masks. They decided to go the lawyer/clarification route instead, and I hope they win.
I thought this could be the Calif “Harvest” church started by Chuck whats-his-name in the 60s-70s, but this one is run by some Asian guy.
Thanks for posting this.

Hispanics continue to lead in # of Cases, hospitalized and deaths.
Please ping me when you post the California real data like these links in the future.
Thanks
Dave
OK, NP. Yeah California’s “per capita” fatality rate is “211 per million population” and N.Y./New Jersey are around 1700 each. CA way down the “per capita” list of states...like #28.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/
So far COVID in CA is running about 1/2 as serious as the 1968-’69 flu pandemic based on “per capita fatalities”, but has 5 1/2 months more to run for a “season total”. I don’t recall any lockdowns in 1969, but I was only 10 y/o and in a rural CA area.
“1968-69 flu pandemic”
We moved out here to California during that time period and there were zero restrictions nor lockdowns.
I just asked my wife.
She did have to show the various shots a vaccines records the kids had taken in N.J. so they could start school in the fall semester. She carried those records until they went to college.
Who woulda ever thought the Big Brother, West Coast-style, would wind up looking like a fruity Metrosexual?
please, Beowulf9 what is that great painting?
Isn’t that something?! It’s Jean-Léon Jérôme The Christian Martyrs Last Prayer, oil on canvas (1863-883). Hanging at the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, Maryland.
post 21 gives more info on it if you want to see that one :)
A lot of churches are, in this Covid time, Very strongly emphasizing growing their small group meetings. Its what the church did in its first 2 centuries, the period which it had its fastest rate of multiplication. The Church started meeting in church buildings around the year 300, and the growth slowed considerably.
