Hi, radu! I thought it might rain this afternoon, but nope. it didn’t. It just teased us. I’m sooo ready for both rain AND lower temps! Maybe we’ll get some leftovers from the tropical storm heading for the Texas coast.

How’re things your way? Still hot and steamy? I hope you didn’t have to trek out into it today.

The tropical storm is what I was referring to. I didn’t know about it until the weather report tonight. Y’all could use the rain but I hope it doesn’t wreak a lot of havoc along the coast.

There’s another storm in the Atlantic that I’ll keep an eye on. It looks to be aimed at the Gulf. But if the high sitting over us doesn’t move out of the way, that could scoot into TX, too, or Mexico.

There were some pretty big rain showers and some thunderstorms in the area but they all bypassed us. But a couple were close enough to give us a little break from the heat with their outflow. And it clouded up, keeping the sun from baking us again, and that helped. Still steamy though.
Tomorrow is our best shot at some rain but it doesn’t look very promising for our area. :-(
