Reporter Kimberly Halkett denies calling Kayleigh McEnany ‘lying bitch’ during briefing

Two years after “yanny or laurel” reached the White House, the executive mansion was consumed Tuesday with debate about whether a journalist called White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany a “lying bitch.”

Kimberly Halkett of Al Jazeera denies swearing and says she told McEnany, “OK, you don’t want to engage.”

But journalists and political aides replayed the tape repeatedly Tuesday, straining to hear what Halkett muttered after a heated exchange.

Unprofessional behavior. This is not some reporter from a tiny newspaper in a small town, it is a supposed journalist from a large media company taking part in a press conference at the White House. The behavior does not fit the venue, but then she isn't the only journalist that has been unprofessional during Trump's tenure.
