Large retail chains have started requiring customers to wear masks inside all of their stores, as coronavirus cases surge across the country and politicians and public health experts clamor for widespread use of face coverings to stem the spread of the disease.
After Walmart, America’s largest retailer, announced on July 15 that it would mandate in-store mask-wearing, a flurry of other companies, including Kroger, Target and Walgreens, followed suit. This means that customers will be required to wear face masks in stores even in places without local mask ordinances. The National Retail Federation has encouraged companies to set nationwide mask policies to protect employees and shoppers.

I would think the large retail chains would be a source for interesting information on spread of Covid. Wal-Mart, Publix, Kroger, CVS, Circle-K, etc. Yet somehow we have nothing from any of them that I’ve seen.
I don’t think you understand the opposition to masks then. It really has nothing to do with what Trump says or doesn’t say about it.
Just throw away the mask. There is no evidence it will save you or anyone else.

It's one thing for a government hack to spread fiction to shut down an economy, it's another for a company to play along.
May their stores be forever infiltrated with Carens looking for every safety violation imaginable.
Yep. Other than carrots (which do not grow well in my soil), there is nothing I need from town before November.
All the stores where I live require them so I special ordered a “Make America Great Again” mask and affixed very long ties so they flop around and look like I have extra long braids. The long ties attract quite a bit of attention. I wear it in the store when required.
To date I have been verbally accosted in 5 different stores, by 5 different people. They can’t see my facial expression too well, but my eyes and the “FOAD” that comes from my mouth (and if they have hearing aids I say it VERY loud), tell them to get the hell away from me before bad things happen.
Also, being legal and all I open carry in every store that doesn’t have a sign while wearing my MAGA mask.
If these stores require the mask might as well have some fun with it.
I’m planning to go to the little IGA that’s a 30 minute drive from my house for my next round of groceries. I’m hoping they won’t be following suit by requiring masks. They have the best meats there, too. I don’t care if I have to pay more for my food. Now it will be worth it. It s a scenic drive, too. Why didn’t I think of this before?

I was wondering about IGAs. The only one in my county is 3 hours away.
I pray everyday that the dangers of masks will be exposed.
I haven't had the pleasure, yet. I say yet, because I just bought a Guy Fawkes mask, which I plan on wearing in to every local store that is requiring a mask.
