Large retail chains have started requiring customers to wear masks inside all of their stores, as coronavirus cases surge across the country and politicians and public health experts clamor for widespread use of face coverings to stem the spread of the disease.
After Walmart, Americas largest retailer, announced on July 15 that it would mandate in-store mask-wearing, a flurry of other companies, including Kroger, Target and Walgreens, followed suit. This means that customers will be required to wear face masks in stores even in places without local mask ordinances. The National Retail Federation has encouraged companies to set nationwide mask policies to protect employees and shoppers.

“Moved from Ctrl FL to the rural Midwest because I knew, sooner or later, insanity would come.”
Where did you settle? I’m looking at moving too.
Well Walmart is half your problem.
The clientele there live angry.
I refuse to ever shop there.
I wonder if we’ll find out how this affects their bottom line at the end each month?
My Walmart had the sign saying “All employees and shoppers must wear a mask.” I just walked in without one past five Walmart employees and no one said a word to me. I would estimate 10 % of the shoppers did not have a mask. I will not wear one. The Arkansas Legislature has not voted yet giving the Gov the authority to require a face covering. If and when that happens I MAY reconsider.
Papers please.
Amazing how they put the onus of enforcement on the business!
Just obey. The mask has nothing to do with stopping the virus.
No, you were wrong, Trump isn’t always right.
The mask plus 6’ is right. If you disagree get the hell out of these stores.
Exactly. They will wear masks for a few months if it gets rid of the 'Orange Man' once and for all. This is ALL political, seeded with plenty of phony, manipulated statistics.
No one said it was, but when the mark comes, it will have the same effect, of stopping people from buying and selling without it.
So you figured we would all become scientifically illiterate suddenly? LOL
...and China owns the media.
That is EXACTLY what a store manager let slip when I was grilling him about their 'mask mandate' yesterday.. They are scared sh*tless of being sued.
Phone call. 'Hello? This is George...'
Test run. Now TPTB KNOW how easy if will be the get people to take the mark.
'Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.'
Take a look around the store, and think about it...
You might have better success if you translated it to Latin.
Lets not overreact. It is the businesses decision, as poor of a decision as it is, and its our decision to go in, or not, or order online groceries. Id rather have the business make the requirement than the government.
