I knew three people, all from different parishes, all at different times of my life who were molested by priests in the Springfield diocese. The Parish priest at our parish was a diddler. Two bishops were involved.
It is an evil organization that covered up their crap under the threats of eternal damnation and excommunication. I have a relative who worked as a director of HR for a diocese. While they could not talk of private issues, they certainly described the process used to avoid prosecution.
My utter disgust with the Catholic Church in Massachusetts comes from their constant (to this day) obfuscation and denial that this stuff happened up until not long ago.
My original comment was a throw away, but I am sure there are some members of the RCC clergy who would jump at the chance of legalizing sex with teenaged boys.

Somerville is not a town. It is a city of about 80,000 people (next to Cambridge so near Boston).
