CNN is sounding the alarm for the Democrats, warning in a piece on Tuesday that former Vice President Joe Biden is underperforming while President Donald Trump is over-performing with black voters.
“Joe Biden’s advantage over Trump with Black voters is currently smaller than Hillary Clinton’s was,” read the headline on Tuesday from CNN’s Harry Enten.
The opening paragraphs of Enten’s article note that despite Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests nationwide since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, the incumbent GOP president is outperforming expectations against the presumptive Democrat nominee in the black community. Despite a drop for Trump in national polls during the timeframe of the protests, with black voters Trump remains firmly where he was before—and Biden is not gaining any support either.

My niece’s husband is black, and he so disgusted by this BLM crap that he can hardly stand it. Angry. Depressed. He said that what the protesters are doing “has set race relations back 100 years”. He’ll be voting for Trump for sure this time around.

The article is right. Biden is doing worse than Clinton among black voters, but better with white voters. Trump’s problem in 2020 is white voters, especially white women.
That's the primary reason behind all the protests. Solidify the black vote for the dems. Rally the black Americans around the dem plantation.
Problem is, more and more Black Americans are getting wise to their shtick along with those who are finally having their eyes opened about how they're being used as tools against the rest of the country.

Right now, the President’s biggest challenge is white women. He is doing better with minorities than he did in 2016 and about the same as he did with white men.
If he can recapture some of the white women he has lost to BLM and “wokeness”, he wins. Period.
To the contrary BLM has activated voters across the racial spectrum - but against this Marxist inspired violent nonsense.
I have some old family photos of grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, that look JUST like that.
I have an old pic of my father at about 12. He was almost in rags... instead of a belt, he had a rope around his waist.
All those kids in that family grew up in the Depression and left school to work because their father had died so young. My grandmother had 5 of them to care for. I cry when I look at those pictures.
I sure wish someone had told her about her white privilege.

Liberal mayors thought riots would work in their favor.
The idea was to blame cops, the black community and Trump for the chaos. Liberal mayors knew the press was in their pocket - and it should have worked...
What democrats didn’t know was the public AND the black community figured it out AND neither group wanted police de-funded.
That was the overreach...
The black community saw progressive mayors were behind the street horrors - mayors telling their cops to stand down while throwing support to rioters AND that the black community would take the blame. Whites would blame blacks, black ‘leaders’ would speak for rioters, and the press would side with antifa... against Trump and against conservatives in the black and white communities... It didn’t work...
And the backlash from the ‘de-fund police’ bit WAS NOT what democrats were expecting. Smells like a win...
There is one charge of racism that rings true in this country, and it is this.
It is that white, elitist Liberals all tend to think that black people are STUPID.
They are not stupid. Every human being thinks and acts in their own rational self-interest. When a bunch of ANTIFA thugs have burned all the pharmacies and grocery stores and Family Dollars and dentists and doctors out of your neighborhood and you are left cooking the dog for dinner it is NOT a good development for you.
They are concerned about improving their lives. Not about political statements being made by spoiled white college kids from the suburbs.
And that’s just the blacks that will admit they support Trump.
It would be nice if he could have rallies again. Michigan, Minnesota and another State is using CV as an excuse to disallow rallies.
BLM turns into a big BM.
Why is CNN worried? According to their polls Biden is ahead by something like 65-40.
