George Will plans to break the habit of a lifetime for the 2020 election.
The longtime conservative commentator said Monday he’ll cast his vote for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in order to help defeat President Donald Trump at the ballot box.
It will likely be the first time that he has ever voted for a Democrat, Will told USA Today’s Susan Page during a conversation for The Aspen Institute.
“I’m a big believer in parties, in party strength and party tickets. Not this year,” said Will, who quit the GOP in June 2016 in protest of Trump’s then-imminent nomination as the Republican presidential candidate.

The old party and ideological labels are no longer serving us well. It helps creeps like George Will, Mitt Romney and John Kasich perpetrate fraud against the public. Time for another party with a little integrity behind it.

Apparently George Will wholeheartedly supports every pending tax hike that Joe Bidel WILL implement on EVERY American should he take the office.

True enough but did he ever say that he would vote for Hillary Clinton? There is a difference. For example, I haven’t voted for Lindsey Graham in years (and never would), but I wouldn’t vote for a democrat either, I don’t care who they are. I just leave that section of the ballot blank. This is what Will could have done but he has to let everyone know how much he hates Trump. To vote for Biden is to disavow the core conservative principles that he used to actively espouse. Good manners prevents me from calling him a hypocrite but I have to question the intelligence of anyone who claims to be conservative but votes for Joe Biden.
