Trump baits a trap for Biden
American Thinker ^ | Andrea Widburg

The big news from President Trump’s weekend interview with Fox’s Chris Wallace is that Wallace challenged Trump’s contention that Biden has agreed to defund the police. (Trump is right; Wallace is wrong. Just saying.) What got some press, although not as much, is Trump’s claim that the standard cognitive test he took was “very hard.” Wallace smugly countered this assertion, as did every Democrat. Trump, of course, will have the last laugh because he’s forcing Biden to take the test.

During the interview with Wallace, Trump pushed hard about Biden’s mental competence (emphasis mine):

TRUMP: And you know why I won’t lose, because the country in the end, they’re not going to have a man who – who’s shot. He’s shot, he’s mentally shot. Let him come out of his basement, go around, I’ll make four or five speeches a day, I’ll be interviewed by you, I’ll be interviewed by the worst killers that hate my – my guts.

*snip*

To the uninitiated, Trump sounds moronic. To those who know how Trump works, he just threw down the gauntlet and Biden’s in big trouble. By saying the basic test is hard, and boasting about his outcome, Trump not only got Chris Wallace to say the test is easy, he got everyone else on the left to do the same:

*Snip*

The entire Trump campaign is now perfectly positioned to say, “Okay, let Biden prove he isn’t mentally incompetent. Let him prove he’s smarter than Trump. Every single Democrat is insisting the test is easy. Therefore, Biden should ‘ace’ it, just as Trump -- who said it was ‘hard’ -- aced it.”

If you don’t think there is a difference, I doubt that I can convince you otherwise.

The Rats and the media are doing their best to hide that Joe is functionally incompetent. His dementia is a very serious threat to not only “the republic”, but also a direct threat to you, me, and our loved ones. If Joe Biden’s dementia poses a treat to my family, he must be stopped. His wife and family are responsible for Trump having to do this. It is just plain sick that his wife is shoving that man out on to the campaign stage. What she is doing is far, far worse than anything Trump can do. She has a moral obligation to protect him and she is doing the opposite.

Under the current circumstances I can’t see any other practical or effective way to alert the numbnuts out there to Joe’s mental incapacity. I care a lot more about the republic and my family than a man that was a worthless oxygen waster before getting dementia.

Why does Biden need to prove anything?

It's a simple concept, but you don't seem to understand. Biden needs to prove that he is competent for the job he is seeking.

I don't mean proving this by taking some silly test. He needs to get on the stage with Trump and prove by coherent advocacy of his positions that he deserves the job.

I don't think he is capable of that, obviously you do.

We shall see.

"Biden will not take that test. He may take another test."

I don't know. Ya think he could mail in the results?

I bet the Dims would go for that, may even insist on it.

how is that going to play with all the voters who actually watched relatives suffer through dementia?
You show someone who knows dementia when they see it proof that your opponent for POTUS actually has it, and your opponent is done.

Ain’t nobody got time for that . . .
