I cannot begin to imagine the thought process that went into making up that name.
He probably admitted he went to get the gun, and shot at him. That’s why if you do something in self defense you don’t speak to the cops til you have a lawyer. Even if you call 911, on the intruder lying bleeding on your floor, you tell them someone’s been shot, not that your shot someone.
Take it to trial. Let the jury decide.
Apparently he didn’t hit the molester so what was he charged with? Littering?
This kind of situation provides a good use for a pair of rusty garden shears.

What jury will convict this man? What is the penalty for justifiable assault?
They will be hard pressed to get a jury conviction in that area of Georgia. I certainly would vote NOT GUILTY
The threat is ongoing as long as the statutory rapist is still walking around free.
It's like an eighty year old man being attacked. If the attacker is not killed, at that moment, by any means possible, legal or otherwise, the eighty year old man will be certain to lose his life later.
If he was not going to simply beat him to death and use the S-S-S strategy (the optimal outcome), then he should have used an oyster knife to remove the perv's testicles, pecker, and tongue and fed them and a couple of gallons of bleach into the garbage disposal...
Then he should call both the police and the Animal Control squad and report that a rapist accompanied by his huge frothing-at-the-mouth pit bull had entered his daughter's bedroom...
