Have been saying this since March. The people pooh-poohing this approach need to understand that if natural herd immunity doesn’t work, neither will a vaccine.
I’ve been beating this drum too. Anyone who honestly believes that a widespread, low risk, affordable vaccine is just months away is ready to buy that bridge in NY.
We know the demand by some to extend lockdowns is not about health it’s about November.
It's likely Chinese scientists developing this weapon had heard of herd immunity before...and ways to counter that protection. The weapon was likely designed so natural immunity would wear off, and that each successive time a person was infected their body would be increasingly damaged.
There was a report a few days ago about a doctor getting the disease a second time... Let's hope that report was a mistake.
