I am doing some research on the Cultural Revolution in China in the mid 60’s.

The parallels are kind of scary.

And it doesn’t bode well for the leaders of the anarchists. They tend not to make it through the second round.

You are correct. What the vast majority of people (and many on FR) do not understand is that if this continues, whoever ends up in control is not going to be who everyone thinks it will be. It is going to be a rude and sorrowful awakening.

Madam Mao among others was arrested after Mao died If I remember correctly tried and convicted. One faction at her trial wanted her sentenced to the Death of a Thousand cuts. I don’ recall if she was or not, but I think that due to her age she was allowed to die a natural death.There were millions of deaths from the Cultural Revolution and the Great Leap Forward after it. I recall reading about it now and then.
