IF what you seem to believe is likely to happen DOES OCCUR, I know how to “live off of” the enemy forces, for as long as is necessary.
I suggest that you read up on the history of the first months of Wendell Fertig’s guerrilla in the Philippines against the Japanese forces in 1942.
(BG Fertig had less than 50 fighters until the last months of 1942 & his rag-tag/poorly supplied group of US military & a few Filipino local nationals tied down over 18,000 “crack” Japanese troops.)

It’s been said the IRA never had more than 200 active rebels at any one time nonetheless, they managed to keep the Brits in knots for decades.
