Surgeon General Jerome Adams begged Fox News' audience on Monday to wear face masks to help contain the spread of the coronavirus and to avoid thinking of the health measure as a violation of their rights.
Adams stressed that President Donald Trump has recently said he supports mask-wearing, despite his refusal to implement a federal mask mandate.
"I'm pleading with your viewers, I'm begging you, please understand that we are not trying to take away your freedoms when we say wear a face covering," Adams said during a "Fox and Friends" interview.
He went on, "We are not trying to take away your ability to go out when we say keep restaurant capacity under 50%. We are saying if we do these things, we can actually open and stay open. We can get back to school, to worship, to jobs. We can do this."

Sure they do. They say the virus is too small to be removed by the mask. They say the N95 (and HEPA) are only good down to 0.3 microns. You try to explain. You provide links to documents. They call you a troll and not doing your homework.

I thought it was interesting when it was reported that a MIDDLE SCHOOL KID pulled that six-foot idea out of his ass. No scientist ever said that. So the whole country re-arranges their lives based on a child’s whim.

I think “don’t touch your face” (especially your mouth, nose, and eyes — ever), and “wash your hands” are the most important things with WuFlu, regular flu, common cold, etc.
A few years ago, after catching pneumonia at church, Hubby and I made a couple changes which sound weird, but we haven’t been sick since.
Hubby chewed his fingernails — fingers in his mouth. He stopped that.
For me, turning pages in the Bible involved licking my finger to quickly flip through the corners of the pages. I stopped that. (I’d never win a “Sword Drill” now, but that’s OK.)
We use hand sanitizer often, but not to an insane degree.
We haven’t been sick in years.

They work best while “protesting.” They perform “poorly” at Trump rallies. Big Media told me so!

And he’s talking to useless tools on Fox, most of whom are on board with masks. Even Hannity — the dope — who’s thrilled to wear masks to baseball games, then remove the mask to eat hot dogs. He doesn’t “get” that removing the mask negates its (alleged) usefulness.

Spy versus spy. In the end, you just have to decide if it’s worth it to lose your liberty by conforming to those who want to control you and fit you for a burqa in five years. Simple.
Guess the only thing that WILL help you to understand is when you folks are admitted to overcrowded ICUs, struggling to get oxygen into your lungs. Ask some of the Freepers who have survived COVID how much fun that was. Except you’ll probably not get COVID since everyone else around you will be wearing a mask for your safety.

Yes, this is the same Surgeon General who recorded a video in March saying masks were useless (which I’m sure has been scrubbed by the Silicon Valley Thought Police by now).
Trump needs to tell his medical team it’s put-up or shut-up time. Redfield says if we wear masks for 4-6 weeks “we can get this under control”. Not good enough. “Under control” are totally undefined weasel words, and just another invitation to move the goalposts again. Trump needs to hold them to clear statistical goals, or replace them.
Hannity also doesn’t get that his mask is contaminated and so is everything that masks touches as he puts it in his pocket.
Hannity and his new girlfriend, Ainsley, probably have one complete brain between the two of ‘em.
