If he must do this, how about starting to call out all the misleading, misreported numbers? Start pulling back or this country will never reopen. Americans are buying the hype and the fearporn bigtime.

MAKE Fauci attend and answer questions. MAKE him present something too. Trump should give him data on States and Mortality rates and MAKE him present it. Make Fauci DO things HE doesn’t want to do! I he doesn’t comply he will give Trump an opening to say: “Tony wants to COMMENT on everything. He isn’t so interested in coming up with the CONTENT. Some are better critics than contributors.”
We are both gardeners so we will fare better than most.
We only have Walmart and national grocery chains in our rural county. All mandatory masks and all staffed with mask Nazis who will not accommodate medical exemptions.
I wish I were rich - I would open a mask free grocery store.
PLUS - Invite Dr. Atlas to talk about EUROPEAN Schools opening. Present the DATA.

He should replace those two clowns with one or two others — actual experts who practice medicine. The replacement(s) MUST be more attractive and charismatic then the current two so the press will be more likely to back off.
Keep Fauci/Mengele and Birx, but in a back room and not in front of the cameras.
PLUS PLUS - Trump should ONLY talk about what the Government Has done and is doing. NO MORE repetitive yarns about where it came from, banning flights from China, etc.
Trump should talk about OPERATION WARP SPEED and all the promising developments. Talk about how wonderful the American People have been in this fight and the appreciation he has for all everyone is doing, etc. LEAVE and answer NO questions. Let the task force field the questions.
I hope he talks about how the CDC has been falsifying numbers.

These briefings should be just that — briefings. Four topics should be the core of each one:
1. This is what’s going on.
2. This is what the Trump administration is doing.

Excellent post AC! I would also love to see him bring out some other health professionals that he can put out there to solidify your point #3. Make the Fake New’s address this and change the narrative.

I have mixed feelings.
As you say, the daily briefings provided the President with direct unfiltered media exposure to the public in lieu of campaign rallies.
But this “deadly pandemic”, while based on a real virus, is clearly being exploited by Democrats who live by the adage “never let a good crisis go to waste”.
I viewed the end of the daily briefings as a hopeful sign that the President was no longer going to facilitate or lend credence to the Covid19 media circus and fake news narratives.
But I do trust his political instincts, so.... no doubt, he has a plan.
Having said that, if Dr. Doom or Scarf Lady are starring in Covid season two, I will not be tuning in.
I hope Fauci will not be attending.
Needs to keep control of the messaging.
They should show the full length of multiple news stories aired on the big networks attacking people for wearing masks, saying it was causing more harm than good, were totally ineffective, etc., followed by Trump blasting the media for making Americans complacent. Turn their crap narrative right back around on them and right in their faces.
