This is something I don't understand at all. Sure, Murkowski and Collins and McCain were/are necessary to maintain majority, but idiots like Kasich? What is the possible downside to kicking him out when he pulls crap like that?

Long ago I was convinced a lot of office-holding RINOs are simply folks who couldn’t climb the ladders in the Democrat Party. So they jumped ship to climb the Republicans’.
