A shining example of why we’re not a democracy. The fact of the matter is we’ve known it’s a “problematic” name for 60 years. But didn’t care and didn’t care and didn’t care, until finally, there was care. This name change has been coming for a while. The handwriting was on the wall before Snyder bought the team, it’s only because he’s a pigheaded jerk it took this long. And really he’s only doing it because his business partners want it done. Snyder is too dense to have his own ideas.
Snyder was a pussy. I would have told everyone that the name stands until the grass doesn’t grow, and the sun quits rising. If they wanted the name change, buy the team and do what you want. The going price is 50% higher than the highest pricing for any NFL team. I am thinking that is about 5 Billion, so 7.5 or shut up.
