You obviously do not study methods and methodologies, how the data are aggregated, understanding what the data are showing. You are taking a 3rd graders look at a graduate level data set — thats fine, but don’t expect to be seriously taken. You are defining what you believe is reality, not what is, in fact, reality.

How many ICUs have you been in and how many covid patients have you treated? Those who work with the disease daily get a good read on what’s going on with it. Most of the armchair experts would soil themselves if the had to walk into a covid ward. it keep convincing yourself you know it all. It would be kind of cute if it wasn’t so annoying

If you’re a clinician or know much about numbers, you should know that sometimes the numbers just aren’t good or very pleasing. They just are.

No, I just said sometimes the numbers are bad and a person has to accept that - if they want to remain based in the real world. Life is tough sometimes and numbers will reflect that sad truth.
Fake positive results. Testing centers are reporting people positive who give up waiting and leave before test.
Hospital worker sent tests that were never swabbed to lab. All came back positive.
These are a few people I know. Not urban legend.

You are conflating something that helps in opening up (e.g. see the salon that had no spread with masks) with the opposite: more detrimental shutdowns. I don't think masks should be mandated by edict with fines. But I think they should be strongly encouraged particularly by the private sector (which is happening).
I actually totally agree with you. But citizens should be able to decide if they need a mask for their protection, family, where they can’t distance. The media’s scared the public enough I’m quite sure masks will endure for a long time with many.
It should never be an order that everyone has to wear masks.
L.A. - We keep shutting down and opening up...over and over again. I’m thinking about just staying home and not leaving at all.
