This is a sad example of someone who doesn’t know when to retire. She’s had cancer how many times? Why is she still working? I would retire and go home to spend as much time with my family as possible. She has two kids. She should be spending time with them and her grandchildren. She’s 87 years old and really has nothing to prove anymore.

“A periodic scan in February followed by a biopsy revealed lesions on my liver. My recent hospitalizations to remove gall stones and treat an infection were unrelated to this recurrence.” So if stones and infection are unrelated, then she is just generally falling apart like a lot of 87 year olds. Septicemia will be next and the cancer will become metastatic to her brain. Not an easy demise and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

How can this be? According to solid intel here on FR - she’s been dead for a year? According to this intel - Trump, Pence Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and hundreds of others are actively involved in lying to us....or are just too stupid to know better - or a combination of both.

Yep, assuming Trump wins in 2020, then Ruth would have to try to hang on until Jan. 20, 2025, to let the next president nominate her successor. The liberal nightmare would then be that what if a Republican wins the 2024 election?

SCOTUS appointments are indeed important but just as important and maybe more so is the Senate majority. If Trump wins and the Democrats take the Senate they will impeach him and if not kill his court appointments.

Her only job is to avoid death and have her clerks write her leftist decisions. The payoff in her mind is cementing her legacy as a SJW supreme instead of an old bat who selfishly missed her political opportunity to retire and forced progressivism into the wilderness for 30 years. Most normal people don’t have that kind of pressure on them at that ridiculous age.

“I think the makeup of the courts will be a big issue for both parties this year.”

The dems have already hinted that they’d like to add Justices to SCOTUS to “correct” Trump’s picks. And they’ve said they might eliminate the filibuster in the Senate to make passing such a bill doable.

For someone her age, I doubt the chemo is anything close to aggressive.

Likely, it’s, “Let’s give this relatively mild agent to temporize things.”

I think a lame duck GOP Senate would skip the opportunity thinking that they would simply pack the court in response. They might do it anyway whether she is replaced by Trump or not assuming the GOP loses everything in November.

The liberal justice, 87, said she remains "fully able" to continue in her post.

Translation:

My law clerks can continue voting Seat Six for Our Side, and have got everything covered.

Time Factor....from nomination to Senate Approval

Gorsuch...Jan 31 - April 9 (about 70 days)

Kavanaugh...July 9 - Oct 6 (About 90 days) Now you know why the lady with the baby voice played the game.

These days, chemo drugs usually work, to a degree, until they stop working. Then, if cancer is still active, it wins the race. Genuine cancer cures can happen, but pancreatic cancer is especially difficult to treat and RBG is likely in her last few months.

If it’s in her liver....it’s a closed case. And please don’t tell me she is working “as usual”.

I keep thinking of Davros from Dr.Who.

The creator of the Daleks that was always somehow alive but barely.
