China has intensified clandestine efforts to “coerce” American corporate leaders into serving as “lobbyists” and potentially illegal “foreign agents” to further its communist objectives, U.S. Attorney General (AG) William Barr warned Thursday.
Some business leaders voluntarily “become pawns of Chinese influence” to protect their profits, Barr noted in remarks prepared for a speech on China policy at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Michigan.
Barr acknowledged that China is waging an “economic blitzkrieg” to replace America as the top superpower. The offensive at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is also targeting Hollywood and American academia.
Barr, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) chief, said:
The CCP has long used public threats of retaliation and barred market access to exert influence. More recently, however, the CCP has also stepped up behind-the-scenes efforts to cultivate and coerce American business executives to further its political objectives — efforts that are all the more pernicious because they are largely hidden from public view.
As China’s government loses credibility around the world, the Department of Justice has seen more and more PRC [People Republic of China] officials and their proxies reaching out to corporate leaders and inveighing them to favor policies and actions favored by the Chinese Communist Party.

I know it’s wishful thinking, but I’d so love for the DoJ to start going after these transnationals, their CEOs, and their Board of Directors. Trump needs to go “Teddy Roosevelt” on them and let them know they will serve the national interest and not visa-versa.

This is the most important position speech of Trump’s first term. It identifies the US interests that have been collaborating with the criminal gang of the CCP for decades to manage the decline of the American middle class through the loss of manufacturing jobs.
Joe Biden is the Collaborator in Chief of this decline. If you watch his speech to the CCP at the Sichuan Institute on YouTube it is clear that he intends to sell out the US at the earliest possible opportunity. History will not forget these collaborators that propped up the slave state created by the CCP. The real victims are the great masses of Chinese people that yearn to be free of their criminal oppressors.

In a shocking speech to the National Governors Association, Secretary Mike Pompeo revealed that he is in possession of a list of American governors who have been listed as “friendly” by Chinese Communist infiltrators.
Pompeo said he had received an earlier invitation from a former governor to attend a networking event that promised great “deal-making” opportunities with the Chinese government.
This networking event was run by “The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship in Foreign Countries,” said Pompeo.
But what the US participants might not have known is that “the group is the public face of the Chinese Communist party’s official foreign influence agency, the United Front Work Department.” Pompeo knew of this connection from his former position at the CIA.
He questioned the governors on how many of them knew that this group was a Communist-front group.
“What if you made a “new friend” at the China networking event?” he asked. “What if your ‘new friend’ offered to invest big money in your state, perhaps in your pension fund, or make a Chinese invest in an industry sensitive to our national security?”
And then Pompeo dropped a huge bomb on the crowd.
“These aren’t hypotheticals. Last year a Chinese government-backed think tank in Beijing produced a report that assessed all fifty of America’s governors on their attitudes toward China. They labeled each pol friendly, hardline, or ambiguous.”
Pompeo continued, “I’ll let you decide where you think you belong, someone in China already has. Many of you, indeed, in that report, are referenced by name.”
