Ignoring and firing are 2 different things. Sounds like they are baiting Trump to fire the liar. He won’t bite.
I guess the silver lining is that Fauci is increasingly the subject of public debate. It’s something he’s never been in his entire life and something he didn’t bargain for when he opted to become a celebrity. He’s likely not prepared for it getting intense.
There is some serious good cop/bad cop gaslighting of Tony going on. Navarro prints an op-ed saying he’s basically wrong about everything. Trump chastises him (even though Trump has said similar things). Mark Meadows then chimes in to chastise Navarro but while doing so points out that Tony was wrong about something else again.
“Peter shouldn’t have done that. Going outside the four walls to the media is not being a team player. Hey, Tony, you just blabbed to the Atlantic. Aren’t you a team player?”
Some type of strategy underway here.
Trump actually needs to make a statement and fire Fauci or fire Collins if Collins won’t fire Fauci. He doesn’t exercise any authority at all over these people and they know they can taunt him as much as they want and he won’t respond with anything but a tweet.
This incompetent, elderly bureaucrat was for some reason given enormous power by Trump and has used it to sow panic, destroy our economy and our private lives, and now seems to be continuing to do so with his latest hysteria. He hasn’t been right about anything and there is no reason to defend him or keep him in his position.
It would restore a lot of confidence if Trump would get rid of him.
Ignoring and firing are 2 different things. Sounds like they are baiting Trump to fire the liar. He wont bite.

Exactly.
