for the courts - the current gov says that the constitutional court appointees should be appointed by the parliament - just like in Germany or the USA. The opposition say no, you'll put the judges you want there...
for the media - the aim is to reduce foreign ownership of media to below 49% - right now, with the exception of doRzeczy, Sieci and Gość niedzielna, the media are owned by foreign houses and don't necessarily think in the country's best interests
