just a note - the opponent, Trzaskowski was not and is not a left-wing MARXIST. He's a left socially, right economically pro-homosexual dude. The left-wing Marxist candidate - Biedron, lost in the first round.

the candidates and the results in the first round were

Duda - socially conservative, big government, welfare state and economically leftish. 43.5%

Trzaskowski - socially leftard, bigGISH government, lower welfare state and economically rightISH 30.5%

Szymon Hołownia - from neither of the two big parties, an independent. Socially mildly conservative, rightISH, smallISH government, welfare state and economically neutral 14%

Krzysztof Bosak - socially conservative, SMALL government, small welfare state and economically right -- THIS guy is the true RIGHT candidate and the person I voted for in the first round (I held my nose and voted Duda in the second) 7%

Kosiniak-Kamysk - socially conservative, big government, big welfare state and economically leftISH - this is the farmer's party - he won 2.8% of the votes

Biedron - socially left, big gov, big welfare and economically LEFT - this guy represents the former communists he got 2% of the votes

The Marxist left-wings are not even in parliament

Where do the major parties stand on immigration and defending western civilization?

To me that’s the overriding issue today.
