The National Association of Basketball Coaches made the move three days after naming its first-ever Black executive director, the former Division I coach Craig Robinson.

...Committee on Racial Reconciliation, co-chaired by Harvard coach Tommy Amaker and South Carolina coach Frank Martin.

The committee believes the two standardized tests “no longer have a place in intercollegiate athletics or higher education at large,” Amaker and Martin said in a joint statement Thursday. “This is an important step toward combating educational inequality in our country.”

So how did Amaker get in to Duke?!

Yes, why even go to college? Just go straight to the NBA. Maybe the NBA should start farm teams like major league baseball has.

Ninety-nine per cent of college basketball players do not make it to the NBA. For that ninety-nine, they may as well get an education.

The NBA has a farm system of sorts; it is called the D League (development).

Dumb down the colleges that way they won’t have to be paid as much.

All the tests consistently show that minorities do poorly. Instead of scrapping the tests, look at what the tests are telling us, and then act accordingly.

Letting them get away without studying leads to low scores. Giving them extra points for being a minority allows them to stop studying, knowing that they will be accepted anyway.

I understand many teachers in public schools use work books to teach. They merely hand out books for the kids to use each day. Little to no actual teaching goes on as in our day. Yet, they scream for more and more money.

I have no personal knowledge and was told this by neighborhood kids talking on the front porch one day last summer.

They are focusing on subjects, like math and English that are not taught. They need to test on Gender, minority rights and environmentalism.
