Our local paper advertises them as “terriers” for adoption but when you look at the photos they are actually pit bull terriers.

Looked at two shelters yesterday - one was entirely filled with pitbulls that were over eight years old, the other, same thing except with chihuahuas.
Most of my dogs have been extremely healthy until the last few months, that’s when they start costing money. I have a feeling people drop off these old dogs when they start to decline and experience health issues.
