Comparing herself to a mother who won’t simply turn the car around if her kids are acting up, but one who will make them walk home, Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Wednesday warned the city is “dangerously close” to possibly going back to Phase 3 of reopening, following a recent rise in new COVID-19 cases, particularly among young people. “The last thing I want to do is have to take steps back. I certainly don’t want to be like other places in the country where we’re shutting down commerce and business,” she said. “If we continue to see this uptick in cases, we’re going to have no choice but to go back into Phase 3. That means shutting businesses down. That means imposing more restrictions on your mobility. No one wants to go back there, but we will have to go back there if people continue to ignore the public health guidance.”

Listening to the news, you would think it is the end of the world. People are dying right and left, hospitals are filling up and the morgues are overflowing?
If things are so dire, why don’t they release the vaccine for everyone and forego further testing?

Inflating the numbers is to keep the panic in place. The way they are counting positives is a lie. Florida just went from around 90% to 9%, they are including in those numbers the people that have even come in contact with someone testing positive. WITHOUT THEM BEING TESTED just to keep the positives high. This whole panic is made up, otherwise why all the lying about everything concerning the virus.
Well, Mayor Lightfoot, if you take all those black-on-black killings out of the COVID column and put them back in the crime section where they belong, your COVID deaths would be much lower.
Vaccines could be made available to above average risk people in high infection rate areas.

It’s really very simple.
The red state mayors (in most cases) and governors aren’t playing the lockdown game very well. The media is screaming at them to lockdown and they aren’t.
Ergo, the blue states are seeing that if the economy is going to be destroyed again, they will have to do all the locking down whether it needs to happen or not, and the answer is “not.”
What the blue state tyrants are going to find is that the tolerance for lockdowns is done.
I posit this: the democrats are talking about flipping red states. If they impose lockdowns again, I think they better be worried about the opposite happening. I’m not talking about the deep blue states, but the states that tilt.

This is what happens when you allow massive covid-spreading protests. Protests were outside, which probably helped a bit, but otherwise are exactly the kind of mass gathering that is going to spread a virus.
First, people are packed together; if they “separate” when not moving, they naturally congregate at other times.
Second, while they might wear masks, they are not doing it right, they pull them down, they touch them constantly.
Third, they are screaming, Chanting loudly, and singing. All things known to generate particles.
Fourth, they are “so important”, people who are sick will NOT skip them. It is guaranteed that lots of positive people were at the protests.
Fifth, they touch each other. They hold hands, hug, bump.
Sixth — they are not washing their hands. it is an 8-hour protest. Where are they going to the bathroom? in the street, or in porta-potties, or slipping into local restaurants. Thousands of people using the same facilities, and many of them outdoors, with no access to running water or soap.
SO yes, they got covid, didn’t have many symptoms because they are young, went back home, spread it to their families, who spread it to friends. Then they started going to parties. In the east coast, they went to Virginia beach, where they infected bar owners and older restaurant workers; Virginia’s entire spike is in the tidewater area.
First, you need to be sure there is any real uptick in cases or if it is just another scare campaign. I don’t like what I am hearing about how these “upticks” are being counted. Seems like some of this is being done to supplement the problems that can occur with the mail-in-voting & what the real reason for doing that is. When all this is said & done, I hope everyone who is implicated in all this phoniness can be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
