NextGen America, a progressive group aimed at mobilizing young voters, is spending $2 million on the launch of four new digital ads promoting presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden as a progressive candidate.
NextGen is launching the ads Thursday and they will run through August. The group said it will run the 30-second ads on platforms frequented by young potential voters, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, VeVo and Hulu.
The ads aim to make young voters enthusiastic about voting for the former vice president in the fall, NextGen America Executive Director Ben Wessel told The Hill Wednesday.
We know that young people don't actually know a ton about Joe Biden, even though he's been in politics for 50 years, Wessel said. The goal of these ads are to show that the policy platform hes putting forward is very progressive and in line with what young people want to have happen in the next presidency, and that Biden is getting advice from experts and activists from within the progressive movement.
The more motivated they are to support Biden, the more motivated theyll be to cast a ballot, he added.

Our 2020 Plan:
"We're going to win back the White House and Senate by registering almost 300,000 people from our communities to vote and organizing nearly five million young voters to cast a ballot for progressives. We are ready to elect representatives who will make health care and education affordable, take meaningful action to address the climate crisis and gun violence, and reshape our institutions, so instead of holding us down, they lift us up.
The Voters
NextGen America is working to turn out people under the age of 35 who are less than likely to vote or who are not currently registered to vote. These young people are hard to find, expensive to mobilize, and have a reputation of not being particularly interested in politics. For those reasons, traditional political campaigns leave them out but we have the expertise to find young people, bring them into the political process, and make them lifelong voters.
The Strategy: Face-to-face Conversations
Nothing beats in-person contact, and our teams are already on the ground across II battleground states having thousands of face-to-face conversations with the people who will decide this election. Organizers educate their peers on the issues at stake in the election, contrast the candidates stances on those issues, and get young people to pledge to vote for progressive candidates. We then recruit and follow up with these voters in person and via text message, email, social media, and digital ads to ensure were building a lasting community of young people committed to change (and to make sure that theyre ready to cast their ballots on election day)."
Well, Joe Biden targets young women, so it’s a good fit!
Remember all those pathetic young liberal women bawling their eyes out as it became apparent that Hillary had lost in 2016? Hillary somehow managed to convince all of them that she was this amazing brilliant woman who was going to be the first to “break the glass ceiling”.
I just can’t imagine anyone weeping when Joe Biden loses. I don’t care how many millions of dollars you spend, there’s not going to be any enthusiasm for that senile old fart.
Vote for the addled, old geizer with Altzheimers!
“C’mon and vote for Joe! He won’t really run the show and besides he can’t last forever...”
>>the policy platform hes putting forward is very progressive and in line with what young people want to have happen in the next presidency,
“I WILL raise YOUR taxes, no matter who YOU are or how little YOU make!”
Get groped for Joe!
they will weep
not because biden lost
but because their agenda gets delayed a little bit longer
it will still move forward thanks to our side’s ignorance and appeasement, just not as fast as they want
Hiding Joe’s dementia is hiding the elephant in the room.
The Democrats like their voters deaf, dumb and blind.
27 May: US News & World Report: Biden Scores $45M Commitment From Steyer-Backed Youth Voter Group
NextGen America, founded by billionaire activist Tom Steyer, is putting $45 million behind its endorsement of the former vice president.
By Susan Milligan
The endorsement by NextGen America, founded by former Democratic presidential contender and climate change activist Tom Steyer, is not unexpected, given the animus young voters as well as climate change activists have towards the sitting president...
Organizers intend to target 4.5 million voters aged 18-35 in battleground states with peer-to-peer text messaging, digital ads and direct mail...
The group will employ a full-time organizing staff of 150 in 11 battleground states. The ad buy will begin in June, with ads comparing Biden and Trump running in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. NextGen will also be ramping up its voter registration and vote-by-mail effort, particularly among young people of color, the group said.
Biden struggled to inspire young voters during the primaries, generally losing the voter group to another septuagenarian, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont...
“We can have a president who wants 100 percent clean energy, student debt forgiveness, and an assault weapons ban, or we can have a white supremacist who tells Americans to drink bleach,” NextGen America Executive Director Ben Wessel said in a statement...

There will be tears. To get those girls to fool around you need to use a lot of big words and sound very liberal and maybe buy them a burger.
They were a dime a dozen in Manhattan when I worked there ten years ago. It’s probably gotten worse
Our PPP program money at work
I'd say that's a pretty darn good reason to vote AGAINST Bye-done.
They will be preaching to the choir, not generating new voters.
