What just happened here is, apparently, TOO COMPLICATED, for many FReepers and other conservatives.
Basically 5 REPUBLICAN-APPOINTED Justices overrode the votes of 4 DEMOCRAT-APPOINTED Justices to allow this animal to be executed.
How did the Republican-appointed justices get to their positions - they got there due to conservatives actually VOTING for Republicans, many times while holding their noses (as I literally did when voting for Cruz in 2018, due to his crap with Trump)?
Those Republican justices sure as hell didn’t get there by conservatives trying to ‘teach the GOP a lesson’ and voting 3rd Party, or sitting out November elections.
...yet millions of us do just that, and those people are assholes simply helping to engineer Democrat victories.
I disagree as they are entitled to appeals, after all there are bad prosecutions done out there. However keeping a known killer alive for decades must be stopped.
The one they whacked the other day tortured 3 Alabama people to death, and there was no reason to keep that POS alive.
But in all cases, they do deserve the appeals.
In some ways leaving him alive with Alzheimer’s might be worse punishment than executing him.
So-called Judge Tanya Chutkan must be maneuvering for a Supreme Court nomination from whomever is pulling Biden’s strings. Otherwise there is no point in these frivolous and lawless two-day delays in executing the worst of the worst.

The wife and I went through it with her mother and finally had to put her in a home about three months before her passing.
Depends. My grandmother died in the throes of dementia and for the last six months or so she lived in complete terror of just about everything. Everything terrified her; people, surroundings, everything. She felt slightly better when my mom was around but other than that it was a horrific existence. I can think of nothing that would be worse, and if someone told me that I was going to go that way I don't know that I wouldn't end things before hand.
If there was a way we could be sure this guy would wind up like that then it'd be a just end.
Wesley Ira Purkey abducted, violently raped, murdered and dismembered a 16 year old girl 22 years ago.
Daniel Lewis Lee (just executed) murdered three people 27 years ago, including an 8 year old girl.
Enough is enough for these death row convicts who spend decades evading their final justice.
It doesn’t surprise me that an Obama Sistah “woman of color” is pulling these judicial stunts. By the way, neither murderer is a “person of color,” so executing them is not a raciss thing.

His dementia was not an issue when he committed murder in 1996. The monster is likely blessed by his dementia but it’s not a valid excuse/reason to spare him from justice.

Absolutely, the turkey didn’t have dementia 24 years ago and he was definitely a monster.
It shouldn’t take this long for he and others to go through the appeals process for convicted murderers, it’s justice delayed in my view.

I agree with a previous Freeper post: Tanya is auditioning for SCOTUS, she wants Drooling Basement Biden to appoint her.
Tanya’s main qualification is being a black woman. Since Plugs’ campaign is being masterminded by a smirking bald black woman, this should be no surprise.
