(1) They are afraid to voice their opinion (there are only a few in this category) due to social pressures or (2) they agree with Antifa, so they are largely satisfied with things as they are, unless they are personally affected.
These are not your normal, everyday folks.
My daughters used to live in Oregon. The times I didn’t drive to visit, I flew into Portland. So there than a few meals and a short shopping trip, I was in other parts of Oregon. Most people I met agreed that Portland and Eugene ruled the rest of the State, which is beautiful. Some blamed California immigrants. Unfortunately that is true for many states, a few urban centers rule.
