My daughters used to live in Oregon. The times I didn’t drive to visit, I flew into Portland. So there than a few meals and a short shopping trip, I was in other parts of Oregon. Most people I met agreed that Portland and Eugene ruled the rest of the State, which is beautiful. Some blamed California immigrants. Unfortunately that is true for many states, a few urban centers rule.
I visited Oregon in the very early 70’s and a very popular bumper sticker was “Don’t Californicate Oregon”. This was in Salem.
It is a beautiful state as Are California and Washington. I hate the commies for what they have done to them.
