John Weaver, one co-founder of The Lincoln Project Super PAC, signed a deal in 2019 with a Russian state-owned company to advocate for its interests but ultimately rejected the contract once he was accused of hypocrisy for his years of calling President Donald Trump a pawn of Vladimir Putin.
Weaver, a career political consultant who started The Lincoln Project to defeat President Donald Trumps reelection bid, signed an agreement on May 10, 2019 with Tenam Corporation, a subsidiary of Rosatom, the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company, Politico reported at the time.
According to the contract, which Weaver was required to file with the Department of Justice because he was acting as a foreign agent, he was tasked with lobbying the Trump administration and Congress on sanctions or other restrictions in the area of atomic (nuclear) trade, or cooperation involving in any way the Russian Federation.

One of their social media guys had to resign the other day after past tweets offensive to women were found.
This is really the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.
HAS the Lincoln Project EVER criticized a Democrat?
Would be willing to bet George Conway was involved one way or the other too.......
Everything they do reveals them as entitled, elitist, deep-state, DC-swamp RINOs.
Pretty clear the Dims and the anti Trumpers are in bed with Russian and Chinese Communists, Iran, Saudi, et al
And of course, always with each other
They’re being EXPOSED as HIV+
They are part and parcel of the deep state swamp or the beltway bubble.
Seriously.
The economy of DC revolves around government workers and government contractors/think tanks/lobbyists. Trump is perceived as a threat to both groups - he is talking about moving more government jobs out of DC to other locales AND he has seriously threatened the gravy train for the latter.
Just ask yourself where all of these people live and work. They are better labeled the Beltway Republicrats than the Lincoln Project. Lincoln would have hung them all.
Perhaps during Trump’s second term he could ‘redistribute’ these offices throughout the country. Like the Bureau of Land Management Headquarters moved to Colorado and the USDA offices of the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) moved to Kansas City, MO
I think breaking the government out of DC would be one of the best changes he could make. The DC bubble is a mess right now.
