Hey TX Gator, I just took my tinfoil cap off wrapped my phone. Give me a call and I will check it out. Of course, if I do not hear from you then I know for sure it works.

A microwave oven is a Faraday Cage. You can store your phone in one of those (preferably unplugged). Would work better than tinfoil.

Mylar bags (coffee, chips, etc.)are said to interfere with cell signal.
Once removed from the bag, while awaiting a return call, you cellphone looks for a signal;
actually your cell continuously looks for a signal unless it is in "airplane mode".
You are traceable by triangulation, especially while stationary especially if phone is known to be owned by you.
Furthermore, if you regularly contact your lawyer by cell, and the stalker knows his number, then any communication is compromised.
That is why the Harris 'StingRay' system is employed.
That is why they have and sell: "burner phones".( Use: used once and done/trashed ).
