What kind of character does it show when you're nominated to be the Attorney General of the United States, and after being confirmed, turn around and tell the world, without first discussing it with the man you owe your position to, that you're recusing yourself from Russiagate? Then he threatens the President that he'll resign if Rosenweasel is canned, and now wants to paint himself as the victim of it all. It shows no character or honesty at all. It shows me someone who can't be trusted when the chips are down.
I guess Trump likes Tuberville. He also liked Bolton.
*******************************************************
Is that what you guess? Really? My guess is that he, like probably almost all of us, doesnt actually know Tuberville or his character and beliefs.
But Trump does know Sessions. While Sessions didnt directly stab Trump in the back, he did open the door to let in a battalion of Wanabe Assassins who spent 3 years repeatedly stabbing Trump in the back. Fortunately for America they were ineffectual and failed in their primary mission. I put Sessions actions at DOJ down to his meekness and cowardice. He was too afraid to take charge and let the Derp Staters largely run things.
Without Sessions we would have had full blown amnesty
Ask pelham
Hes mart
Tuberville is a mass immigration supporter, to bring in cheap labor for big donors and Silicon Valley.
Thats why I oppose Tuberville, even if Trump has made the mistake of endorsing him
I also oppose Romney, even though Trump made the mistake of endorsing him
I support Trump, but I also think for myself
In fact if I didnt think for myself I would have voted for one of the neocon clones in the 2016 GOP primaries - Marco or Ted or Carly or Walker or Christie or Jed - because those were the people most Freepers were supporting. Instead I thought for myself and went for Trump from day 1.
$essions was a tremendous disappointment. Another UNIPARTARIAN who folded like a Walmart shirt in tough times.
Tell you the truth, I don’t trust any of these two guys. Of course, I don’t live in Alabama.
> Good points. I stand corrected
Thanks, FRiend! I can make your original point though. If an H1 makes my life harder, I’m still ahead of the minimum wage person displaced by an illegal.
So they both matter greatly. One just wrecks the economy worse (the higher paid jobs).
I didn’t defend H1b just pointing out it is a small problem compared to illegal immigration. It’s sad you are so low skill you could be replaced by a cheap indian drone, but that’s your problem, and there is a solution: Get good.
Trump doesnt endorse people based on their politics. He endorses them only if he thinks theyll win. Thats why he will endorse Romney in a Utah Senate race but will be totally silent when it comes to someone like Kris Kobach in Kansas. Kobach is a two-time loser in key Kansas elections over the years, and Trump hates losers more than anything else in the world.
Moore was anti-Swamp through and through. They did not want him running his mouth about business as usual in Senate. They were able to load him down with enough baggage to make a lot of Republicans stay home and not vote. Moore tends to be a distraction and lightening rod for leftists, but I still voted for him over Jones, and would do it again.
> there is a solution: Get good.
I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.
H1 and others are changing the way companies operate. The thinking processes are low-trust and micromanaging.
I’m good, FRiend, and I know plenty of others who are. They would disagree with you.
The impact on our economy and even national security is much worse from the “legal” people than the illegals.
The illegals are hurting low-paid workers. Big human cost, but not the impact on the whole way our country runs.
You sound pretty damn sure of yourself, but I’ve met very few people who actually know more than I do or have more experience in software development and IT in general.
Would Wayne07 happen to be or have been in management,
or recruiting?
As AG, Sessions revealed himself to be a Swamp creature. If he was going to recuse himself in the Russia investigation, he should have resigned. As a result, with Rosenstein running the show, NOBODY was keeping Mueller and the Deep State honest for Trump. I will NEVER forgive Sessions for that stunt.
You telling m Sessions cant win in Ala?
I had just received a perfect performance review and a 15% raise then 2 weeks later my entire IT department was let go and replaced. We had to "train" our replacements to get severance. So f-off a$$hole.
tuberville is clearly a “carpet bagging,” gope disaster in the making. i hope you remember who did good for you all these years, Alabama.
and this President has some real blind spots when it comes to the difference between fake gopes and true conservatives. you need to wake him up too, Alabama. God’s speed Jeff. at least it’ll be over one way or another today.
Wayne07 is either completely uninvolved in software development, or was a recruiter or member of “management.”
Did you notice that Trump was silent on this race until 4-6 weeks ago when a poll was published showing Tuberville with a big lead?
Are they equally probable to beat Jones? I would go with the most probable.
....As I try to look at it objectively I think my opinion is that we need to reach peak employment in a field before we allow companies to use H1Bs because otherwise we will drive wages down and that sucks. Based on this, I think there needs to be far more scrutiny on these lest we screw over American workers.
****************************************************************
Your objective look lacks clarity of understanding. You dont seem to comprehend that its the companies themselves (along with their, frequently Indian, IT managers) that determine that theres a shortage of available Americans for the jobs. GUESS WHAT THEY FIND? They always find the H1B approval is essential.
This approach is very similar to the mechanism the federal government uses to determine needed salaries for the federal civil service employees. They assign federal employees to make the determinations. GUESS WHAT THEY FIND? Hint: Most recently they found that federal employees on average make 26.71% less than their private sector counterparts. As someone who has had experience on both the federal employee side of the fence as well as in counterpart private sector jobs...THIS IS BULL CRAP! The private sector employees would love to have the public sector salaries and benefits.
