I see teachers all over social media crying about it.
My three sons are all ESSENTIAL workers in decent physical condition and have been working “as normal” since this bullshirt started. I’m 64 and “essential worker” so same here.
It’s ok for all the folks getting food to us, keeping electricity on, keeping gas at gas stations, etc. to work EVERY DAY but not OK for children’s futures or teachers, some of whom may be approaching their “Best If Used By” date, to work.
Our children are grown but I’d love to have a reduction or refund on the School District’s chunk of my property taxes.
