ATLANTA - A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked Georgia’s 2019 “heartbeat” abortion law, finding that it violates the U.S. Constitution.
U.S. District Judge Steve Jones ruled against the state in a lawsuit filed by abortion providers and an advocacy group. Jones had temporarily blocked the law in October, and it never went into effect. The new ruling permanently enjoins the state from ever enforcing House Bill 481.
In his ruling, Jones said that part of the law "violated the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution."
In response to the ruling, Gov. Brian Kemp said that his administration would appeal the decision.
"Georgia values life, and we will keep fighting for the rights of the unborn,” Kemp said.

I remember when Roe vs Wade passed, the Blacks in piedmont NC were so upset because they believed the whites were trying to kill them off.
The Fourteenth Amendment apparently says whatever you want it to say.
Georgia has a black population of 30.5%. Therefore, this judge is apparently in favor of more black children being aborted. Good to know exactly who we’re dealing with.
Must have gotten his law degree from the same school as Algonquin J. Calhoun.

Maybe U.S. District Judge Steve Jones should kill one of his viable kids or grandkids to see at what point life is viable.
It appears we are letting street criminals redefine justice now, so I would not be disturbed to see right-minded people take a page out of that play book and support state government enforcement of this law anyway. It’s a matter of life and death for the innocent. Who will stand up?
And just for the record, he’s a black democrat.
