One has to wonder how removing all references to blacks and Indians is improving their status.

Just like the Land O Lakes package change: chase off the Indian but keep her land.

I vote for the Washington Leeches which are both parasitic and spineless.

This is what really bothers me about the entire business.

The logo of the Washington Redskins has always been a very dignified, iconic representation of the American Indian.

A 2016 poll indicated that 90% of Native Americans had no objection to the name.

(My High School sweetheart was a proud Cherokee, whose mother was born and raised on a reservation. He was intensely proud of the Redskins.)

At a time when we don’t hear much about the aboriginal Americans, doing away with the Redskins name and logo will just relegate them further into obscurity.
