School officials say all three teachers wore masks and gloves, used hand sanitizer and socially distanced, but still contracted the virus. There you go. All the precautions in the world are not going to keep you from getting this virus. Its going to find you.

Where is why the question should be asked if people believe the masks and gloves do protect them. Also to consider is if the people were using the same precautions outside the classroom?

Obviously, the patient did not catch it at the school. They were doing what my mask Karen FB friends are doing. They are screaming at people to wear a mask to the grocery store but ignoring the virus when they are with friends and family.

I agree with both of you. This virus cannot be stopped; it can only be slowed down slightly at the cost of destroying our country. Whatever grim toll this disease will reap, it will reap. The idea that we can stop it is as false a narrative as the idea that we control the thermostat for the temperature of the earth.

I have observed how the people around me use their masks and gloves, and their behavior makes both useless for any real protection. Most people don't have the slightest clue about proper mask and glove protocols.
Gloves don't give you magic protection from any virus - you just don't get it on the skin of your hands. You still shouldn't touch your face. Masks don't give magic protection either - you touch you mask and move it around constantly, even with your magic gloves on, and they still will become contaminated and allow air flow.
This is the greatest fallacy with the "everyone must wear masks!" hysteria. Even with proper training, masks and gloves aren't meant to be worn all day. There is a certain way to sue them, and most people don't know it. This renders the mask orders moot, except as a useless show of fear and power.

Although I bet at least once, they all decided they were safe, and did something together that wasn’t social distanced, or protected with anything.
I was watching three women working at a rec center I swam at this past week. They all had masks when I entered, and one had gloves. But as I watched, the gloves were discarded, and they all had the masks down, and they were running around, and running into each other, and going in and out of the same doors over and over, and then all three were in the room shouting at each other over some sound outdoors.
If they all got sick, I’m sure the report would say that they followed ALL THE GUIDELINES.
