Robert S. Mueller III served as special counsel for the Justice Department from 2017 to 2019.
The work of the special counsels office its report, indictments, guilty pleas and convictions should speak for itself. But I feel compelled to respond both to broad claims that our investigation was illegitimate and our motives were improper, and to specific claims that Roger Stone was a victim of our office. The Russia investigation was of paramount importance. Stone was prosecuted and convicted because he committed federal crimes. He remains a convicted felon, and rightly so.
Russias actions were a threat to Americas democracy. It was critical that they be investigated and understood. By late 2016, the FBI had evidence that the Russians had signaled to a Trump campaign adviser that they could assist the campaign through the anonymous release of information damaging to the Democratic candidate. And the FBI knew that the Russians had done just that: Beginning in July 2016, WikiLeaks released emails stolen by Russian military intelligence officers from the Clinton campaign. Other online personas using false names fronts for Russian military intelligence also released Clinton campaign emails.

The US has a beautiful constitution, and an ugly legal system run by horrible people.
We need to reform the justice system by revoking immunity for judges and prosecutors and shift more of the cases to the states by reducing the police state agencies fbi, dea etc. The states need to be the primary jurisdiction for adjudication crimes and violations by US citizens.
I am pretty sure the end result was appropriate.
The guy was no hero. But he did not deserve a death sentence.
Roger Stone was convicted by a Star Chamber, but he is now free at last.
I’m with you. I think he is a treasonous sort of guy.
I’m done with these self congratulatory articles.
Let’s interview Mueller publicly for an entire day and see how that goes
Whoever wrote this for Mueller failed again to support the claims that their investigation was legitimate and proper, and that Roger Stone was not a victim.
The evidence that their investigation was illegitimate and their motives were improper, is overwhelming.
They knew from the start that they had no case, that it was a nothing burger. Yet they continue to pretend that there was something there. Why?
Mueller should be the convicted felon, yes?
Cannot wait for Mueller’s conviction s a felon.
And you, Mr. Mueller, are a proven partisan, hack, liar, Democrat slease-bucket.
Robert Mueller has sent people to prison on false charges before and the taxpayers paid a high price when the falsely charged and imprison men sued. They were released after several years. One I believed died in prison.
He wouldn’t want to send poor old Stone to prison with all this coronavirus would he?
Let’s follow the logic here....
Mueller was appointed to investigate Russian collusion in our election. A nefarious idea for which they have never produced any proof of any kind.
He went after the Trump team very aggressively and one of his targets was Roger Stone, a brash “political operative”, who acts as if he knows stuff others don’t.
He completely ignored the FACT that the DNC and HRC campaign paid Steele through Fusion GPS for Russian disinformation that formed the basis of his appointment and investigation. It was all a lie.
So here we are..... the collusion by the left that created years of hysteria and was shown to be false was never investigated. A guy who wanted HRC emails to be dumped by wikileaks is prosecuted for a process crime. Countless journalist and politicians made baseless claims for two years and they were never interviewed.
The only conclusion is that had Stone NOT been associated to Trump he would never have been investigated or prosecuted. Stone was not even an official part of the campaign.
Compare the treatment of him to the treatment of HRC associates who were government employees that violated the law on classified information. They were given immunity and never prosecuted or seriously investigated.
But convicted in a court of law for what he DID, not who he is...
Even with the commutation of sentence, Stone can still appeal to overturn the conviction. If he does that, then I think he should hire the most vicious lawyer for civil damages. Would Rusty Hardin take such a case.
I sat on a jury where he was one of the attorneys
Mueller is a terrorist enabling felon hiding behind his immunity giving mandate
Shouldn’t the life-long corrupt loser, meuller, be in prison for his various crimes?
Yes. Roger Stone remains a convicted felon. Trump remains impeached forever. I hope those thoughts will console America’s enemies on the left throughout President Trump’s next four productive years in office.
I would describe Mueller, his chief co-conspirator, Weismann and the cadre of enablers as un-indicted co-conspirators in the attempted coup of a duly elected President.
NOT FAKING DEMENTIA TODAY!!
BOB is NOT SENILE!! He is FAKING so as not to be PROSECUTED..just like BIDEN is DOING!
