The funny things is the times is happy about this.
Can we please start down the path of cutting off all trade and relations to China and isolating them from the world yet? They are our enemy. They have always been our enemy. They will never be anything but an enemy and we should not be sending our jobs or money to them. They are liars, cheats, and thieves and they will bury us if we don’t stand up to them while we’re still strong enough to do so.
so, China and Iran, our two uber enemies, are going to shut us out by building their own military/industrial complex to rule the world-——————so, what’s China going to do about all those muslims they have locked up in concentration camps?

China will tell the world they are helping a small group of criminals reform their ways.
The Chinese government will actually sterilize, euthanize, murder, and disappear ANY group that threatens its grip on power. That includes Christians who don’t kneel before them as the true masters of the universe.
The sooner we isolate China and cause their economy to collapse, the sooner the people of China will rise up and remove their government from power. After that, it’s a crap shoot what they end up becoming, but their culture has a lot of pretty awful aspects ingrained into it that would make it really hard for me to ever take them at their word about anything.

We have plenty of people in this country who’ll bury us way before the Chinese will.
I would think that an Islamic nation would be reluctant to have strong relations with a country that was genociding Muslims, but it turns out that the Uyghurs are Sunni and since Iran is Shia then I guess it’s OK.

Iran’s in deep trouble with mysterious bombings that pretty much sabotaged and setback their nuke program for maybe 2 yrs. Their economy, military and even intelligence apparatuses are in serious decline.

As so many pointed out on this thread, this tie makes absolutely no sense other than as a sign of desperation on both sides.
Iran gains nothing in the long term by joining with a group that is actively destroying muslims, and China gains nothing in the long term when such an alliance will virtually guarantee them isolation in the western financial markets.
This deal is reminiscent of the Tokyo-Berlin Axis more that anything. Perhaps Beijing is securing petroleum resources for anticipated military action?
I truly hope they are not that desperate. I also hope that they are not misreading American political affairs the way that Japan did.
That was the way I saw it. And I don’t like it.
