It’s really not about whether their actions directly caused his death. It’s about their complete LACK of action while he died. They stood there with their hands in their pockets doing NOTHING while people even shouted from the crowd that he was in distress. While he BEGGED for his life, they did NOTHING. NOTHING. Now you can argue about what the specific charge should be. But in the end, they FAILED. They didn’t care. And that really is the biggest problem. Too many cops just don’t give a damn.
Don’t confuse the leftist mobs on the street, those in the media, and those in Congress with the facts. They have their “truths” and we have to play by their rules.
Makes no sense rebuilding Minneapolis. The riots will be worse when the over-charged police officers are all acquitted.
Stalin was trying to find a way to discredit the United States. He chose the Leopold and Lobe murder case and created a movement in the US to smear the country as racist for convicting these men who were obviously guilty. The movement did the standard racist things to smear America. Apparently, John Steinbeck’s wife attended a candlelight vigil held for the murderers and said to the communist agitator, a woman, that she hoped the governor would commute their sentence. The woman snapped at her, “Don’t be ridiculous. They’re no good to us alive.” When she related this to her husband she told him that they were being used as tools. He had promised to write something sympathetic for the cause. She told him that if he didn’t she would fear for their lives.
What we see going on now is the same thing, but updated for the modern world.
It is not hugely exculpatory that three cops squashed a man in respiratory distress.

There is a more powerful synthetic opiate that comes out of China.
Carfentanyl.
It is so powerful and concentrated that even a very capable compounding pharmacist would have trouble creating a pill or injectable containing a safe dosage.
The mass of a grain of salt, if it was Carfentanyl, would be a large overdose for a grown man.
It’s far easier to slip a teeny package into the US than a large one so Carfentanyl is easier to smuggle.
The trouble is amateurs trying to buffer it down into manageable doses....you cannot do that without the knowledge and proper gear.
A container of Carfentanyl is 5000 times smaller than an equivalent container of Fentanyl.

I have a buddy who is on an RCMP drug unit. The same scenario happened to him once in a park. Luckily there were a group of nurses nearby who recognized the perp was overdosing.
