Yeah right.
How many months, after the fact?
An article so nice you posted it twice.
“congratulations to Geo Fly” Etc
As someone said, “Trust Kansas” :)
Narcan can be used if suspect opioid is involved, Ifno opioid Is present it has no effect on the person.
At the time of Floyds death many police departments, including the NYPD, had explicit DO NOT RESUSCITATE orders because if the Wuhan Virus

Hard to keep track when you are busy...
You mean keep him calm by putting a knee on his neck and leaning down really hard?
The cops have no excuse in this case.
You can explain why there was no neck damage.
He died of a drug overdose.
It only takes one sensible juror who understands that and the cops will be home by lunchtime.
Thats great if, as the EMT mentions, the drugs in question have been witnessed. What if its not an opioid, or its a mix including Meth like in Floyds case. It can produce the opposite of the desired effect.
Thank you for your compassion.
Kinda don’t think they ‘kept him calm’, with the cop’s knee across his neck for over seven minutes. Of course, by the time the EMTs arrived, he was quite calm, dead calm, in fact. When one no longer has a pulse, one is quite ‘calm’.
That said, I do not think the cops should have been charged with ‘felony murder’. ‘Criminal negligence causing death’ sounds closer to reality. IIRC, the autopsy showed ‘cardiac arrest’ as the cause of death. Fentanyl depresses breathing, which affects the heart. An inability to breathe causes stress, further complicating matters. Having a knee squeezing one’s neck, perhaps restricting circulation, would add to the stress. Stress is one (of many) causes for cardiac arrest.
It seems therefore, that the knee across the neck, and the lack of attention to the physical wellbeing of Floyd, potentially contributed to his death, therefore ‘criminal negligence’. ‘Criminial negligence CAUSING DEATH’? Would he have died without the ‘assist’ from the cops? Perhaps. Did what they did ‘help’ him to recover? Absolutely not! Certainly ‘criminal negligence’ but the courts can decide if it ‘caused death’.
“””Certainly criminal negligence but the courts can decide if it caused death.”””””””””””””””
The JURORS will decide that.
And they will decide that after they hear a very lengthy presentation by medical experts hired by the officers.
I have been on a Minneapolis jury a few times and I am on the roster for Federal jury duty this summer if they ever open up.
I know which way I would lean. It only takes one.
Leftists will always find a “reason” to riot and create ch.aos. Besides, Orange Man bad.
Easy tor you to say.
Are you saying the cops DID NOTHING?
They did more than nothing. Just because it was not enough to save him, that doesnt mean they fell short of their duty.
Just another media and Marxist driven lie that has wreaked incredible damage and havoc on our nation.
Where is the compassion for he police who were doing their job, and who are being railroaded?
If you read that transcript you find they did more than what weve been told. Also in the transcript we find why the EMTs were slow to arrive on scene.
Dark gloves.
