Sure, '2CAVTrooper." Thank you for your brave actions behind internet anonymity. I am continually charmed by some of Free Republic's big, bold, heroic warriors - many with handles denoting a rank, branch, etc.

My own service was extremely modest but I have found that fakers are the quickest to broadcast such things and talk like big tough guys. (Not you, of course.)

In any case, killing yourself in front of your wife and kids is a vicious, cowardly, selfish, evil thing to do. It is the sort of thing a faker does, someone who is wrestling with character demons - not like boozing or having a temper (and I have my own demons - maybe we all do) but the deep ones like being a liar.

May you never experience suicide in your family.
