Many defendants in Stone’s position prefer a commutation while they appeal their conviction. It’s better to have the conviction overturned than to have it stand and then get a pardon.

It's preposterous that Trump should have to do this.
The piece sh!+ corrupt judgette should have been relieved of jurisdiction and she should have ruled a mistrial when it was discovered she permitted an enemy activist to be a juror. Stone should NOT have this over his head forever.
